Ensures the guest experience is seamless during the arrival and departure process and throughout the stay. Acquaints each guest with room and features.

Essential Job Functions and Primary Responsibilities:

* Complete guest registration process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system, confirming pertinent information. Codes electronic keys. Ensures guest knows the location of the room and arranges for an associate to accompany a guest in the room.

* Greets guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. Uses a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to understand requests, responds with appropriate action and provides accurate information such on outlet hours, events, etc.

* Promptly answers the telephone and reviews emails. Inputs messages into the computer and tells other associates of special guest needs. Retrieves messages and communicates the content to the guest. Retrieves mail, packages, and facsimiles or other special items as requested

* Field guest complaints, conducting through research to develop the most effective solutions and negotiate results. Listens and extends assistance in order to resolve problems. Remains calm and alert especially during emergency situations and heavy resort activity. Plans and implements detailed steps by using experienced judgment and discretion.

* Maintain professional telephone etiquette based on hotel standards.

* Answer external and internal calls and process calls requested by guests, executives and employees of the hotel, following the procedures, standards, and wording established for each department.

* Ensure that the privacy of the guests is maintained, and all guest information is kept confidential.

* Follow all key handling procedures to maintain the safety and security of all guests and employees.

* Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications Required:

* Must have exceptional guest service skills with a willingness to exceed expectations

* Work in a positive and professional matter with little direction or supervision

* Flexible, self-motivated positive attitude
