Supply Chain/Logistics Internship with Johnson and Johnson - Bridgewater, MA This is a full time 40 hours per week role for 6 months Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program Overview : Candidate will work within the area of Customer Services and Logistics (CLS) and be involved in the customer experience, distribution, transportation, and channel management for the organization. This organization represents three separate sectors: medical devices and diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, and consumer products. This team is represented in multiple countries and continues to grow global visibility and responsibility. The CLS team reports to a broader organizational supply chain and partners closely with peer groups throughout a global supply chain. Responsibilities : This position will support to define value proposition at regional and site levels by providing the core analytics and oversight for the group deployment schedule. The position will aid in the updating group documentation-business process standards, diagnostic analysis guides, value drivers, charters, and site prep data collection. The position will assist in execution and enhancement of business analytics and will actively engage in benchmarking to determine best in class opportunities for improvement. The position will be able to assist in project management with current project list. A candidate will possess solid analytical skills with a strong interest in automation and systems. Candidates should be entrepreneurial, self-starters that can work independently, as well as within a team. Candidates must be able to work with data and technology and quickly learn to interpret data gathered from a variety of data sources. The successful candidate will have strong presentation and communication skills. Qualifications Candidate must be a student enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree seeking program majoring in a Supply Chain, Logistics, Management or Industrial/Mechanical Engineering related field. A cumulative GPA of 3.0. Candidates must be able to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the 6-month internship. Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as business partnering skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting. Experience in FDA and/or GMP regulated environment is preferred. Experience utilizing and understanding Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is required. This role will require the individual to have strong analytical skills and quantitative aptitude. Ability to think innovatively and strategically is required. The leadership capability to influence others and work independently is required. Knowledge of database management is preferred. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power Point are preferred. This position will require significant interaction with Johnson & Johnson business partners across all business sectors; engagement at senior levels of leadership is required. The role will also require external interaction with benchmarking companies. Lean and/or Six Sigma training and thinking is preferred.
