Position Summary: Analyzes the business needs of users, and generates functional requirements and systems design documents for the Information Systems and Services (IS&S) team to use in the development of new applications. Promote the use of currently available systems and find opportunities for homogenization between the multiple facilities of the group. Provide functional support and training to the users for optimal utilization of availableapplications. Leads projects and provides support in the implementation of those initiatives designated by the US Director of IS&S and the IS&S Organization Director. In collaboration with other members of the project team (including IS&S and functional area key users) assure that theimplementation of the different functionalities is accomplished. Responsibilities Key Accountabilities: Identify & diagnose potential organizational problem areas. Support the IS&S development team in the collection of user requirements for new or improved applications, considering the corporate goalof process harmonization Lead and analyze design sessions in prototyping new systems to enhance business processes, operations and information process flows. Identify processes currently used in a facility to evaluate if they can be useful in other facility where requirements for similar functionality exist. Function as a business process resource supporting the optimal use of the corresponding SAP system modules Create and be part of discussion forums orientated to the identification of ways of improving efficiency of business processes, or thequality of the related information. Help project stakeholders create project timelines and deadlines. Develop, maintain and report the project plans status and other metrics for the different projects. Assist the key users in a project in organizing and executing the testing of new tools developed by the IS&S development team before implementation and propose improvements. Develop and monitor KPI to evaluate the quality of the information and the level of usage of each application developed by the IS&S team after implementation. Manage Stakeholders expectations. Recommend training and development systems. Execution of user training. Provide support to end users for implementation of new business process tools. Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems, andreporting applications for the data generated Represents the business unit to define requirements and business cases for the technology developments Collects systems requirements by interviewing those responsible for the affected areas in operations Provides leadership to the business team in order to guarantee the progress of the different information systems projects Coordinates with business and information systems teams, ascertaining system requirements and controls Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements, and that fit with the company's system architecture standards Other duties as assigned Budget managed (if applicable): N/A Internal Networking/Key relationships To be determined based on department needs Skills & Capabilities: Detailed understanding of business processes and functions in a manufacturing company.
