Job ObjectivesAs an Associate Director - CRM and Patient Engagement, you will be empowered to be strategic and innovative. You will be part of the hematology consumer marketing team. This is a franchise role supporting 6 brands used in treatment of various rare bleeding disorders like Hemophilia and von-Willebrand disease.The Associate Director - CRM and Patient Engagement will define vision, strategy and implementation of best in class CRM programs (pre and post script) for prospective and prescribed patients.Primary DutiesYou will be responsible for creating strategic and innovative CRM programs to improve customer engagement through integrated digital, mobile, and social platforms. You will evolve, promote and grow the Franchise CRM program to drive desired behavior change among our customers.You will lead and effectively collaborate across brand teams, patient services, digital excellence, IT, privacy, legal and compliance and external vendors to forward CRM and patient engagement efforts.You will identify customer and market trends and insights to optimize spend, performance and ROI, leveraging the Insights and Analytics teamYou will evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.You will utilize market research and trend analysis to develop CRM content recommendation and execution. You will regularly evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor activities.You will establish key objectives and performance metrics for CRM campaigns and initiatives. You will identify and implement appropriate measurement tools.You will monitor operations and Key Performance Indicators through in-depth analysis of metrics, make recommendations for optimizations to improve overall performanceYou will manage consumer database and data integration across all vendor partnersYou will remain current with customer, competitive and marketplace activity to contribute insights and perspectives to the broader team and annual franchise plans.You will manage budgets for most efficient use of available marketing dollars.You will also be responsible for execution of franchise product trial programs focusing on driving positive experience for new patient starts.Additional marketing responsibilities include but not limited to: Participate in CMLR reviews, attend and contribute in planning of live patient conferences, events, educational content and programs. Collaborate with other members of the consumer marketing team to ensure alignment of strategies across various channels and levers. Contribute to overall patient engagement strategy for the franchise by participating in the annual strategic and tactical planning process. Overall, help build trust in Takeda and lasting presence of Takeda in the bleeding disorder community through education and support programs.Education and Experience RequirementsBachelors degree required.Advanced degree preferred.8 - 10 years of consumer marketing experience5+ years of pharmaceutical marketing experience (direct or agency)Strong CRM, multi-channel marketing, digital marketing and social media management experience with focus on patients.Rare-disease experience preferred.Thrombosis/Hematology experience is strongly preferred.Key Skills, Abilities, and CompetenciesProven track record in building and implementing successful CRM programs in healthcare. Deep understanding of the non-personal promotion and multi-channel depth understanding of the multiple channels of customer engagement utilized by an organization across their varied customers (i.e., patients, caregivers, HCPs) including how channels can be utilized effectively in an integrated fashion to deliver cross-channel customer journeys.Solid ability to translate market trends and consumer needs/insights to strategy.Strong understanding of digital approaches to reach and impact patients.Strong understanding of developing / executing patient outreach programs and event marketing to build patient relationships.Ability to influence others without authority. Proven experience advising stakeholders and effectively influencing business partners and peers.Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and proven ability to advance and drive tactics in a matrix organization. Demonstrated ability to drive the achievement of business goals through aligning people, process, structure, information and communication systems.Experience in brand messaging and aligning a communication strategy and unbranded messagingProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyDemonstrated strong leadership, interpersonal skills and excellent communication across functions, organizational levels and cultures to help deliver business resultsStrong understanding of current consumer FDA digital guidelines.Travel RequirementsRequires approximately 25% travelWillingness to travel to various meetings, conferences and could include overnight.Some weekend and/or international travel may be required.Notice to Employment / Recruitment Agents:Employment / Recruitment agents may only submit candidates for vacancies only if they have written authorization to do so from Shire, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Takedas Talent Acquisition department.
